Conference participants can seek accommodation at Quality Hotel Midtown from January 27 to 30 at the special rate of CAD 99.00 per night plus tax. The hotel is less than a five-minute walk away from the campus. Please note that in order to get this special rate, you need to make a reservation by December 27, 2004. From Pearson Airport to UofT St. George Campus (by public transit)

From Pearson International Airport, you can take the Airport Rocket to Kipling subway station. Then take an eastbound train to St. George station. You will only need one TTC ticket, which costs CAD 2.25 if you are paying cash. A cab costs at least CAD 40.00.

Amenities

The St. George campus is located at the heart of downtown Toronto and is only a short walk away from a number of attractions and amenities. Harbord Street is home to The Atticus, a second-hand bookstore with a lot of linguistics gems. There are a number of fine restaurants on the same street. China Town and Kensington Market, two of Toronto's major attractions are also close by. You may also want to take a walk along Bloor and Spadina area where a lot of pubs, restaurants, shops, and bookstores are located.
