Submitting Assignments

Assignments must be submitted on paper in class or to the Political Science departmental office located in Sidney Smith Hall (SS 3018).

We will not accept e-mail submissions of assignments. Reasons for not submitting a paper copy such as scheduling conflicts or technical difficulties etc. are not acceptable.  Moreover, e-mail submissions will NOT be accepted as evidence that you have completed your assignment on time. It is your responsibility to ensure that assignments are turned in a timely manner.

In accordance to University policy, if you are suffering from H1N1/Flu-like symptoms (a) stay at home or in your residence room, (b) using the Flu Declaration Form found on ROSI, indicate every single day you have been experiencing flu-like symptoms, and (c) submit a paper copy of the confirmation form as provided by ROSI, attached to your assignment.  You must submit your assignment as soon as you are no longer suffering from symptoms.  Requests for extensions beyond the dates reported on the Flu Declaration Form should be e-mailed to Wayne Chu (wayne.chu@utoronto.ca) and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis (but are not guaranteed).

For any other medical related absence a medical note is STILL required.

Please keep in mind that the practical hand-on nature of this course means that missing classes will likely affect your ability to complete assignments properly.  If you miss class, you are STRONGLY encouraged you to make arrangements to get notes from your classmates.  You should also ensure that you read and work through the material in the on-line labs.  If you have questions on the material, do not hesitate to consult with one of the TAs.
